Following a response I made to the post 'I need a neck seal', I've decided to start making made to measure neck seals. I'll say £20 each + p&p or free delivery to the next event I attend after the order's taken...

I'll do shiny or matt finish - but the matt would have to wait until I can find the appropriate material...

Am also going to make made to measure weapon bags, smarter and better protection than a plaggy bag or scruffy box! I was going to speak to the merchandising officer, but as the UKG site's down, and this conversations now started, I'll show you for initial interest... Wink

See what you think to the one I made for my Boushh weapon below - you may have seen it when I brought it to NSC last year...

I made it out of the following:

Outer is lightweight waterproof fabric
Lining is fleece
Handles are wide nylon webbing
Double ended zip

I also wrap my weapon in bubblewrap/foam for more protection!

I can do any size, any colour (I did stitching to match the lining on my own) and will sew patches on too... I'll even to helmet duffle bags if there's demand! Patches will need to be provided by yourself...

Anybody interested, post here or pm me! We can then discuss the finer details by email...

Price will be by quote, dependant on size/fabric choice etc. but the one above I would've charged around £30-£35 + p&p (it's about 7ft long!)

See what you think!

Hi

If you can give me the measurements, I can make the bag! Only thing with long weapons (like sabers) is I/you need to calculate the weighting so I can get the handles in the right place - for my blaster, the handles are slightly towards the back so it balances out the weight of the base. Wink

All you need to do is:

1. Measure the length of your weapon (or padding/packaging) and add a bit to ensure you'll get it in/out ok.

2. Measure around the widest part of the weapon (saber handle) and add a bit again for padding etc.

3. Work out what sort of handles you want (shoulder/hand/adjustable)

4. Decide if you want one full-length zip or two half-length zips that meet in the middle

5. Choose your colours (black and red/ blue and black etc...) and fabrics (light/heavyweight waterproof/canvas... fleece/fake sheepskin/fur..)

6. Decide on matching/contrasting threading.

7. Decide on patches.

8. Send me all the details and let me work out a price!

There ain't no shape I won't have a go at! I can always take your item home for checking measurements, or I can always make up a 'practice' bag in lining fabric to try first!

PLEASE don't encourage Iain to measure the length or widest part of his weapon.
He is a scoutmaster, you know...

Shocked

Wow, nice work Teri

TK's can use standard crash helmet bags, but my noggin is about twice the size of your average TK lid.

Any chance you'd be interested in doing a TIE helmet bag?

I knew somebody would start with the dooblies as soon as I typed in about measuring your weapon... Laughing

I'd gladly make an x-wing or vader bag - I'm afraid it wouldn't be as flash as a fancy helmet bag, but I'll happily have a go at a drawstring duffle bag or something like a cylinder with zip top... Just pm me your measurements (no dooblies please!! Laughing ) and what you fancy and I'll price it up!

Hi Guys!s

Anybody who wants one of these bags, whatever it's for... please pm me with your requirements (outlined in my post above).

I'll need these to price up fabric etc.

I'm likely to respond quicker if you pm me on the UKG forum as I check this daily.

Thanks

Teri
